Overview

Dr. Andrew Tran is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in the diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of glaucoma and cataracts. He provides both medical and surgical care for adult patients and is dedicated to preserving vision through personalized, evidence-based treatment plans. Dr. Tran has also served as a clinical instructor, teaching residents advanced techniques in glaucoma and cataract surgery.

Education and Medical Training

Dr. Tran earned his medical degree cum laude and a Master of Business Administration from SUNY University at Buffalo. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, where he also served as chief of residency morale. Before that, he completed an internal medicine residency at the UCSF Fresno Internal Medicine Residency Program. Dr. Tran then completed a glaucoma fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
