Dr. Tran earned his medical degree cum laude and a Master of Business Administration from SUNY University at Buffalo. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, where he also served as chief of residency morale. Before that, he completed an internal medicine residency at the UCSF Fresno Internal Medicine Residency Program. Dr. Tran then completed a glaucoma fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.
